Olympic legacy for London
Challenge: The Institute of Consulting and Chartered Management Institute sought to produce a joint white paper that explored the key ways that the Olympic legacy could be used to stimulate economic and social well being.
Intervention: Using Fibonacci, a number of workshops were conducted to identify the key focus question and its components to give direction to the client team in formulating the contents the white paper.
Outcome: An interactive, dynamic decision support model was developed. The contents derived from the model led to production of the white paper. 'Mind the Gap: The Role of the Consulting Industry in Realizing the Olympic Legacy 2012' published in March 2012. The paper examined the challenges facing those responsible for delivering the legacy and the opportunities to be captured by timely action in the immediate post-Olympic period.
